Flea and Food September 12th & 13th "Need to Know"

Dear Stall Holder,

A very warm welcome to our Spring Fair, full of makers, creators, flowers and food. We’re so pleased to have you here and hope you have a fantastic weekend with us.

Please take a moment to read through the important information below to help everything run smoothly during the market.

Setting Up:

The market will open at 9am on Saturday and 10am Sunday. Please ensure that you are set up and ready to trade at this time.

Once you’ve unloaded your stock, please move your vehicle to the designated “Stall Holders” car park. There are signposts in place, or a parking marshal will guide you. Your car park pass must be clearly displayed on your dashboard at all times while on site. We are parking over 40 stallholder vehicles, so please park considerately and follow guidance from the team.

Please note: all stock left overnight is at your own risk.

Bathrooms:

There are two stallholder toilets on site. One at the top of the garden to the right of the Bothy (please follow signage). The other is located in Vinery 1. Where possible, please avoid using the portable customer toilets in the car park.

Tea, Coffee and Food:

A complimentary tea and coffee station is available in the Carnation House throughout the market; please help yourself. Cold Blow Coffee are generously offering stallholders a 25% discount. They can be found in the sea container on the Lower Terrace.

Rascal’s Catering will be serving breakfast buns and sourdough pizzas (lower terrace).

Savannah at Homeground Kitchen will be offering tasty Thai noodle salads and spicy frozen Margaritas (upper terrace)

Halstead Bakery will be on the upper terrace. Expect breakfast pastries, biscuits, and savoury turnovers.

Health & Safety:

Please keep all pathways and fire exits clear of boxes and rubbish at all times. In the event of a fire, please exit via the main gate and assemble in the main car park. Further instructions will be given there. A first aid kit is available in the Carnation House for any minor injuries. The closest defibrillator is located in, St Ronans School. The nearest A&E is Pembury.

If you haven’t yet provided a copy of your public liability insurance, please ask for a waiver form. If you’re using electricity, please ensure you are using your own extension leads and cable covers. Charging points are available for phones and card machines.

WiFi:
Password: AAAABBBB20 If the WiFi is slow or drops out, please switch to your mobile data or hotspot (4G/5G).

Please note: we are a cashless business, so if you are accepting cash, please ensure you have your own float and change.

Breakdown:
At the end of the market on Sunday, please ensure all stock and any rubbish is cleared from your pitch. If you would like to leave any items or need assistance, please come and speak to Nick.

Info for your friends, customers & followers:

We'll be open from 9am to 4pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Admission is priced at £5 per person (under 16s come free), well behaved dogs on leads welcome too. Parking is at a premium in the mornings so why not come a little later in the day - (admission after 2pm is £3.)

Finding us: we share an entrance with St Ronan’s School in Hawkhurst. Turn into the grounds and then take a sharp right and follow the track up to the Walled Garden.
