Crab Apple Jelly

It’s with the generosity of our neighbours we make this preserve as they have donated their crab apples. The fruit is cooked whole with lots of herbs from the garden. The apple stock is strained off and measured. Sugar and vinegar and added and setting point reach quickly to retain flavour and colour. Great with all roast meats (and soft cheese), and especially roast pork.

• Made at Water Lane in small batches.
• 175g min net weight.
• Once opened keep refrigerated and use within one month.

Crab apples, herbs, garlic, vinegar (sulphites), sugar
