We are delighted that our Seville Orange Marmalade has been awarded a Gold Medal at the World Marmalade Awards in Cumbria this year. The awards take place every year at Dalemain House near Penrith. It's an international event that receives over 3,500 entries and culminates in a celebratory Marmalade Festival on the 25th April at Dalemain House. 

We use the best quality organic fruit in our marmalade. We cook the fruit whole until soft and leave it to cool. It’s then halved and the flesh removed. The skins are hand-sliced and reunited with the flesh (less the pips). A blend of sugars and lemon juice is added and brought slowly to a gentle boil until the setting point has been reached. 

Our marmaalde is full-flavoured with a medium cut rind. We eat it every day on toast or crumpets for breakfast. On the odd occasion, we pair it with crispy smoked bacon in a toasted sandwich. 

  • Made at Water Lane in small batches using open pans.
  • 330g min net weight
  • 56g of fruit to 100g, total sugar content 60%
  • Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within one month.
