• In its heyday the garden at Water Lane employed thirteen gardeners, producing a range of fruit and vegetables for the family and staff at Tongswood House.

  • With a few less hands we’ve turned a quarter of the site into a productive plot, using organic methods and following the ‘no-dig’ philosophy.

  • The food we grow is primarily destined for the tables of our cafe/restaurant with any surplus being made available for visitors to buy.
